Crisis Response Program

Purpose
The Canines for Christ Crisis Response aims to train and provide members with a new opportunity, adding to their current portfolio of service opportunities.  Members will bring a ministry of presence, prayers, and appropriately share God’s love, comfort, and hope to those affected by man-made or natural disasters. Our dogs are the vessel to open the door to share this message. 

How to Get Involved:

1. A Crisis Response (CR) Volunteer must be a current C4C Member. 
2. A trained member can serve in CR activities independently or as part of CR Chapter activities.
3. Training consists of the following activities:

• Download, read, and keep with you on all CR activities the attached CR Guidelines and the latest C4C Volunteer Manual. 
• Review the attached training PowerPoint.
• Download and keep on all activities the Photo Release Form.
• Decide what level of CR activities you desire, and you and your dog are qualified for. If you choose CRO #2 or #3 the Program Director will call you to discuss those two options.
• Fill out the attached “Attest to Training” email that will be sent to the Program
