Care Partner Ministry

The Care Partner Ministry is providing a ministry of presence for our individual Canines for Christ volunteers whether you have been serving for years or new to the ministry. This arm of the ministry helps to encourage, support and offer prayer through relationship building as well as allowing individual volunteers to be connected with others serving across the country. You can be a Care Partner to others along with having a Care Partner assigned to you, if you are not connected to a Local Chapter. 

What does a Care Partner do? The Care Partner reaches out to an assigned list of individual volunteers on a quarterly basis to discuss their prayer needs, offer encouragement, find out what we can do for them, ministry-related or otherwise, and show them we care for them, and they are important to us. They will do this  by phone, text, or email. 

Remember, we are a ministry first and a therapy dog organization second. We want everyone in our organization to feel supported, encouraged and equipped. The results will be volunteers who will be more effective, have more fun, and will serve more. 

This is NOT limited to Chaplains, all individual Canines for Christ volunteers with or without a dog can serve and be served. This is about human relationship to build up the body of believers within Canines for Christ.
